Oh, did I mention that I’ve lived in Bali for 5 years? That’s right, I’ve spent a lot of my days surfing its salty waters. 3 years, to be exact.
Basically, I ventured out into the field of marketing in 2009. And have since been involved in a wide variety of industries, including (but not limited to) Entertainment, Retail and SAAS.
It wasn’t until 2019 that the CEO of TRAPO attended one of my talks in Bali, which was on Converting Strangers into Customers.

Now, I am the Chief Marketing Officer of TRAPO and managed to boost its growth 5X within a span of 2 years since I spearheaded its marketing division. We went from a startup based in Malaysia to an award-winning brand that’s expanded over 4 other countries .
Ever since, I’ve given talks on numerous marketing conferences, seminars, and even interviews. I was shortlisted as a Rising Star by DotDigital, and was also a speaker at the Reshape 2021 Summit. Yes, the very summit that Barack Obama spoke at as well. I’d like to say that that’s one of my proudest achievements among many.
If there’s anything I’ve learned in my journey as a CMO, it can be summarized in three quick points:
But of course, my journey has just started. And if you’re interested to share valuable marketing insights I’ve learned in this rapidly-changing e-Commerce environment, feel free to connect with me. I also happen to provide public speaking services too.
